After over six decades, Elgin’s 1958 “Cinderella Team” came together for one last Friday night during Western Days to reminisce about their time playing football for Elgin High School and relive the memories of their historic game. The team had last held a reunion 20 years ago in City Cafe. The team is noted for playing in the state championship in the fall of 1958.
