The Elgin High School Wildcat Band had two members of its program, Stephan Ross (left) and Sean Mayberry (right), advanced on to the Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest on Saturday, June 1 at Connally High School. Mayberry and Ross prepared a solo from memory and performed at the Region 26 Solo & Ensemble Contest in February to advance to the state level.
