The City of Elgin hired Kristina Alvarez as the Main Street Manager.Alvarez comes to Elgin with a background of community engagement and business development. Kristina is passionate about advocacy, historic preservation and leadership development.Kristina obtained her bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas at Austin.Alvarez has assisted in the launching of several businesses, including operations, administration and management development.
