Elgin Empty Bowl returns to support community

The pandemic, rolling blackouts and historic winter storms created increased need for food and support serviced in the Elgin community. And food emergencies, once a challenge faced by one in seven Elginites last year, now may impact more than twice that number today. As community support from pandemic dollars dwindles, the need for help remains.
