Despite technical difficulties, the Down Home Ranch Annual Gala exceeded their fundraising goal of $100,000 this weekend.
This year, Down Home Ranch held their 17th annual gala virtually with a livestreamed event on Saturday evening.
The online gala featured remarks from Down Home Ranch Executive Director Craig Russell and chief operating officer Barry Hamilton, with a special guest appearance from country singer and songwriter Seth Ennis.
The gala raised a total of $103,970 for the mission of Down Home Ranch this year through tickets and an online auction.
“To the DHR community and all who attended the 17th Annual Gala, thank you for your generosity, flexibility, and ongoing support of Down Home Ranch,” said development director Jeffrey Mizell. “We could not do the important work we do without supporters like you who continue to amaze us with your commitment to the DHR mission. Even through all the technical difficulties, we hope you enjoyed our first-ever virtual Gala. Congratulations to all the auction and raffle winners! Hope to see you all in-person next year for another inspiring event!”
Down Home Ranch gave a special shout-out to this year’s presenting sponsor, PCSI.
