On Sunday, Cub Scout Pack 471 took to the air and experienced indoor skydiving at iFly in Austin. Troops 472 and 473 accompanied the pack. The scouts participated in a science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) program provided by iFly, where they learned how objects such as balls and water behave in the wind tunnel. They learned about aerodynamics and made parachutes and paper helicopters before attending the flight training. After flight training, the scouts and adults donned their flight gear and were ready to take flight.
