This year's Boogie Back to Bastrop, a country and western swing festival, was hosted by the Bastrop Convention & Exhibition Center on August 23 and 24. The two-day cultural event that celebrates the preservation of Texas Western Swing music and dance has become an anticipated annual gathering for swing music fans. Dancers gathered at the event from across Texas, and many out-of-state visitors attended as well.
