As we celebrate Black History Month in February, a Bastrop pastor and autobiography author has lessons to share on perseverance, positivity and peace with others.Bastrop pastor George Sampleton was born and raised in Gonzales, Texas, and was one of the first Black students who attended Gonzales High School during integration.
