Downtown Smithville was a hot spot for health activities and information on Saturday for the first Bastrop County Health Fest. Health-related vendors and organizations promoted their services to attendees, while others took part in games and exercises such as pickleball. The event was originally scheduled for January, but was postponed due to a wave of COVID-19.
