Emma Neidig and Jessica Cantrell combined as a pitching tag team last Friday to shutout the Bastrop Lady Bears in five and a half innings of play at home 12-0. Cantrell gave up a hit late to Abby Abraham, which would be Bastrop’s only hit of the game.
Both squads were silent on the bases for the first two and a half innings, but in the bottom of the third the Lady Cats’ scoring came to life.
