An Elgin High School teacher has been recognized this fall for her work teaching an entrepreneurship class. Darrecia Johnson is a first-year INCubatoredu high school entrepreneurship teacher at Elgin High School. The class she teaches is like an incubator course, she said; the students spend the year creating a product, service or company, culminating in them pitching their project. Students also have the opportunity to pitch their project at the national level with other students, as well. Students have mentors and coaches help them as they create their products.
