The Bastrop County Animal Shelter recently took in an unexpected surprise in the form of a check from Frontier Bank of Texas.
Individual members of the bank’s board of directors and staff recently pooled some of their spending money to help the county care for the large population of animals taken in by the shelter in the past few weeks. Frontier Bastrop Market Manager Wanda Rucker presented the check in the amount of $2,050 to Precinct Four County Commissioner Donna Snowden.
