Instead of just watching TV, playing video games or doing nothing while at home during the stay-at-home quarantine, Girl Scout Junior Janelle J. finished the “Think Like A Programmer” Journey. She coded and built a website to help kids learn about the spread of COVID-19 and prevention steps. In the Girl Scout program, Journeys are an extensive review of a topic created to increase leadership development. These involve more effort and time than what is required for badges.
