Two Elgin seats up for election

On the ballot this spring is one contested race each for the Elgin City Council and the Elgin ISD school board. Early voting starts on April 22, with election day on May 4. Brad Jones and James Mark Jones will face off for the Ward 3 seat on the Elgin City Council left vacant by Phillip Thomas, who did not apply for re-election.
