On Saturday afternoon, the McDade Bulldogs took on the Mount Calm Panthers. Since it was McDade’s Homecoming, there was a parade as well as a homecoming court ceremony before the game that drew a bigger crowd than normal.
The Bulldogs play six-man football, which only allows for six people to be on the field at a time for each team. There are a few different rules that come with playing six-man, like playing on an 80-yard field, requiring 15 yards to the first down instead of the traditional ten, and extra-point field goals are worth two points, to name a few.
