The Wildcats shut down and shut out Lockhart this weekend to capture the bi-district title. Elgin shut out the Lions on Friday 12-0 and on Saturday 10-0 to advance to the area round where they will take on Montgomery in Bryan on May 13 and 14. In the first contest, Til Nalle went all seven innings giving up just two hits while striking out 11. Keaton Grady and Nalle both homered in the game.
