LOCKHART — The Elgin High School boys varsity basketball team is clicking early in the 2023-24 regular season under Head Coach David Wilson as the Wildcats are currently on a fourgame winning streak following success at the Lockhart Tournament that concluded on Saturday evening.The Wildcats had their way with a 72-45 victory over Geronimo Navarro High School, took care of business 60-42 over host Lockhart High School, handled Austin Crockett Early College High School in a 50-41 win and routed Gonzales High School 75-47 to conclude the tourney.Against Navarro Panthers, the Wildcats got a balanced scoring attack from junior Amar ...
