​Just when the game seemed out of reach, the Elgin Wildcats stormed back, causing a raucous among the home crowd​Ultimately, the late game push wasn’t quite enough, and the Wildcats fell to the Manor New Tech Titans 48-39 on Dec. 16.​Sophomore guard Amar Bermudez got the Wildcats on the board by scoring the team’s first four points. Later, Jake Sides sank a corner 3-pointer, cutting their deficit to two.
