Elgin High School varsity football senior kicker Paden Maass announced his commitment Friday, Feb. 2 to continue his career as a student-athlete at Sul Ross State University for the Lobos football program in Alpine.“Firstly, thank you to God for the position I’m in and all the opportunities he’s blessed me with,” Maass said on X. “These last four years have been amazing and a journey I’ll never forget. I’d like to thank my parents and coaches for always supporting me and helping me strive for excellence. Thank you to my teammates for the early mornings and always being alongside me.
