The Smithville Tigers’ baseball team battled back to take game two but fell apart in the decisive game at home against Taylor on Saturday to conclude their 2020-21 season in the bi-district round of the playoffs. The Ducks took game one 4-0, but the Tigers roared back to take the second match in Smithville 3-2 on a walk-off win. After a short break, the two teams battled for a third time and the Ducks came out firing, shutting down Smithville 13-1 to take the bi-district crown.
