The Wildcat Team Tennis squad took on the Eagles of Cedar Creek in a head-to-head match held Tuesday, September 15.

The Elgin boys held their own, winning three matches while losing four. Wyatt Fisher won first place in singles and Andrew Perez took second. Fisher and Perez also joined forces to win first in the doubles division. David Woods, Jeremiah Johnson and John Molina also competed in the match.

Elgin travelled to district-leading Pflugerville on Friday and met a talented Panther squad. Woods played a strong match to win second place, but that was the extent of the Wildcats' success.

The 'Cats played at Manor on Tuesday, September 22, then will travel to Pflugerville on Friday to take on Weiss High School on September 25.
