The Lady Badgers of Lampasas rolled into town on Monday, November 23 to take on the Elgin girls’ basketball squad. In a very entertaining and evenly-matched game, the Lady Cats were once again very competitive until the last period. The first half ended with Elgin trailing by four points, 26-30. The Lady Badgers started pulling away late in period 3 and were able to maintain their comfortable lead to the end, winning the game 59-50.
High scorers were Natasha Stafford and Cpeeritt Plummer, while Anaya Freeman and Plummer led the team in rebounds.
