BURNET — The Bastrop High School girls varsity golf team was crowned 5A-District 23 champions last week as the Lady Bears competed March 25-26 at Delaware Springs Golf Course in Burnet.Lady Bears standout Carly Sherman was the top individual girls golfer as she was named district champion.Sherman, Adriana Gerhart and Cali Lozano were named first-team all-district while Sammie McFarland and Gabi Lopez were selected as second-team all-district honors.
