Elgin Middle School honors Kobe Bryant

After the tragic loss of nine souls, including basketball superstar Kobe Bryant, in the recent helicopter crash in California, players from Elgin and Georgetown Forbes middle schools wanted to take a moment and honor the legendary Kobe’s impact on them and all players, no matter their age and skill set. Before their game Monday night, January 27, both 7th grade B teams took the court, holding a banner thanking Kobe, whose nickname was Black Mamba.
