Straight-ticket voting didn’t leave soon enough

On June 1st back in 2017, Governor Greg Abbott signed a bill—House Bill 25—that will eliminate the option to vote straight-ticket in Texas, starting in 2020. Basically, this means you can’t click a single button to vote for all of the candidates of one party anymore. You can still vote for them all, but now you have to go through the whole ballot and select every candidate. I think that this was a smart decision that should’ve been made a long time ago.
