Loretta Jean Johns, 65, of McDade, passed away suddenly on August 10, 2022. Loretta was born the youngest of three children to Edward “Eddie” Robert Mewis and Betty Jean Mewis, in Austin, Texas, on August 2, 1957.On January 22, 1978, she met the love of her life, Richard “Rick” Eugene Johns, while playing in a pool tournament at an Austin bar.
