L. B. Hall, 78, of Elgin, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, June 11, 2019. L.B. was born on January 2, 1941 to Albert and Nan Hall. L.B. was born and raised in Howe, Texas. As a young adult in Howe, he was a member of the Grayson County Sheriff’s Posse and an active member of the Howe Volunteer Fire Department. L.B. moved his family to Georgetown in 1976 with a transfer from IBM. In 1989, L.B. and Linda moved to Elgin where he also continued to support the local volunteer fire department. In 2007, L.B. was one of the founding board members of the Bastrop Travis County ESD #1. L.B. worked for over thirty years as a machinist with I.B.M. and retired as a 2nd level manager in 1993. When he wasn’t working, he loved to raise and train horses. He also coached his kids in baseball and football.

L.B. is preceded in death by both his parents and his sister, Glenda Sisemore. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of almost 50 years, Linda Casey Hall; his four children, son, Scott Hall and wife Kelly of Georgetown and their two daughters, Misty and Brandyn; son, Gary Hall and wife Kay of Georgetown and their two sons, Chad and Cole; son, Greg Hall and wife Crystal of Elgin; and daughter, Lori Benson of Elgin and her children, Hollie and Tyler; and four great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of L.B.’s Life will be conducted at the Elgin Funeral Home, Saturday, June 22nd at 11:00 AM with the Reverend, Samuel Blanco presiding. Arrangements and care are entrusted to Elgin Funeral Home.
