Clarence Baylor Huff, 96, of Elgin, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 2, 2020.  Clarence was born in McDade, Texas on November 22, 1924 to Gracie Lee Dunbar Huff and Thomas Levi Huff.  Clarence grew up at the Brick Yard.  There was a time in our country’s history when young men possessed a strong since of duty and obligation to their serve their country, especially in time of war.  Clarence was one of those brave young men; he dropped out of school, provided a fictious date of birth and enlisted in the U.S. Navy to serve his Country Honorably.  After the ...
