Carrie Louise McCloskey, 82, of Elgin, passed away peacefully, Friday, December 25, 2020.  Carrie was born in Chocolate Bayou, Texas on November 7, 1938, to Alfred Richard Dietrich and Margaret Peterson Dietrich.  Carrie grew up in South Houston and graduated from Pasadena High school.  After graduation, she moved to San Marcos, where she attended Southwest Texas and received her Bachelors.  On May 29, 1970, she married the love her of her life, Robert Anthony McCloskey.  The couple moved to Elgin in 1983, where they raised their two sons.  Carrie was a huge part of their son’s school and sports, where ...
