SMITHVILLE – Local chicken enthusiast John Finch, and his “Come and Wing It” team, took home the people of Smithville’s vote for Wingfest’s best chicken wing, the second year in a row.The annual poultry celebration, hosted in downtown Smithville this past weekend, brought together residents for a good, old-fashioned neighborly cook-off, according to attendees.The competition saw seven local chefs put forward their hottest, sweetest and tangiest original recipes, dressing their wings in homemade sauces for the town to enjoy.
