Members of the U.S. Marshals-led Task Force Thursday afternoon arrested Jaime Tamez Jr., 29, in the 500 block of Cleveland Street in Elgin. Tamez had been sought on multiple warrants from the Elgin Police Department from September 2021, including assault family violence, evading arrest and detention, and violation of a protective order issued by a Municipal Court in the City of Elgin.In October, the Elgin Police Department requested assistance from the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF) - Austin Division to locate and apprehend Tamez.
