School board takes action to issue bonds

Elgin ISD plans to issue part of the recently-approved bonds to fund a new elementary school, a new transportation center and expansions to the high school early next year.In November, Elgin ISD held a bond election with three propositions totaling $190 million. Voters approved two of the three propositions, or $182.76 million.
