On January 20, investigators from the Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office narcotics unit conducted surveillance at the Days Inn motel in Bastrop, where they observed a known narcotics trafficker who appeared to be staying there.Through further investigation, they learned that the subject had an expired driver’s license. The subject was observed leaving the motel and operating a motor vehicle on a public roadway.
