Elgin resident Vincent Castillo was honored among fellow Vanderbilt University students, named as part of the College of Arts and Science Dean’s list for the 2023 spring semester.Castillo earned this academic distinction by maintaining a pristine grade point average at the Nashville based school, and by carrying at least 12 graded credit hours of coursework.A 2022 graduate of Austin’s San Juan Diego Catholic High School, Castillo will return as a member of Vanderbilt’s intellectual community in the fall semester.
