42 Players Welcome - New Hope Lutheran church will host 42 players on the first and third Tuesdays from 1 to 4 p.m. at 1970 Hwy 290 East. For more information, call Judith Dube at 512-273-2541.

ACC Farmstead - Every Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m., the Sustainable Agriculture program hosts a farmstead in building 200 at the ACC Elgin campus, 1501 Hwy 290 W. Fresh produce harvested from the farm is available for sale.

Adult Craft Afternoon - Every first Friday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at the Elgin Public Library, 404 N. Main Street.

Al-Anon - Friends and families of alcoholics group meets from 6:30 to 7:45 pm. Every Thursday at the First Methodist Church, 216 W 3rd Street. For more information, call 512-285-4503.

Arts & Crafts - Children can have fun at the Elgin Public Library, 404 N. Main Street, during the arts and crafts program every Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

Ashtanga Yoga - Sharon Moon leads two weekly yoga classes at the Elgin Rec Center, 361 North TX-95, on Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 p.m. and Saturdays 10:30-11:45 p.m. First class is free. For more information, call 512-406-1993 or visit www.moonyoga.com.

Bingo - The Elgin VFW Post No. 6115, 118 Old Sayers Road, hosts Bingo beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays. Kids are welcomed if chaperoned. Call 512-285-2300 for more information.

Citizenship Class - Every Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Elgin Public Library, 404 N. Main Street.

Coffee - Women are invited to a women’s continental coffee at 9 a.m. every Wednesday, and m are invited to a men’s continental coffee at 8 a.m. every Thursday, at the First National Bank Community Room at 1312 US-290.

Cr-AfterWork - Need some space to spread out and work on a project? Is your work space small, cramped or poorly lit? Want to socialize but have to get some work done? Bring your current project to Cr-AfterWork every first Thursday of the month from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Elgin Public Library Civic Center, 404 N. Main Street.

Exercise Classes - Ladies are invited to an exercise class beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the First Presbyterian Church, 303 N. Avenue C. Geared toward ages 50+. For more information, call 512-281-2174.

Fitness Class - Jessica Ortiz conducts a high-intensity fitness class on Monday and Wednesday evenings at the Elgin Rec Center, 361 North, TX-95, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Free for Rec members or $5 for all others. Call Parks & Recreation at 512-285-6434 for more information.

Grown-Up Games Gala - Dominoes and board games every fifth Friday of the month, starting at 6 p.m. at the Elgin Public Library, 404 N. Main Street.

Gym Open! - Come out to the Elgin Rec Center, 361 North, TX-95, for “open gym” from 6 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday evening for free!

Homeschool Gatherings - Gather at the Elgin Public Library, 404 N. Main Street, every Friday from 10:30 to noon for various activities.

Job Hunters Workshop - Get one-on-one help with your job search every Wednesday at the Elgin Library, 404 N. Main Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 pm. Workforce Development Specialist Denise Ross can review your resume and assist with online job applications. Call 512-303-3916 to make an appointment.

Networking - The Elgin B2B Networking group meets at 7:30 a.m. each Thursday morning at Jalisco’s, 244 U.S. 290.

Open Mic Night - The Owl Wine Bar & Home Goods Store hosts open mic night at 9 p.m. Fridays.
