Elgin Independent School District recently passed a financial management test with flying colors, scoring a 96 which indicates “superior achievement.” The test was conducted by the Texas Education Agency as a part of their Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST), measuring various financial aspects for the 2021-22 fiscal year. “We’re excited to continue such a great legacy of financial integrity here in Elgin ISD,” said chief financial officer, Jeffri Orosco.
