The Bastrop County Commissioners Court Monday approved an agreement with Gonzales County for detention services. According to the interlocal agreement, Gonzales County will pay Bastrop County $45 per person per day to house inmates at the Bastrop jail. Gonzales County will pay for any additional fees, like medical or emergency costs, and will reimburse Bastrop County.
