Bastrop County is applying for a program that would let voters cast their ballot at any polling location in the county even on Election Day.During the Bastrop County Commissioners Court’s most recent meeting on November 22, county elections administrator Kristin Miles gave a presentation on the program ahead of a public hearing to seek input on the county’s intent to apply.The countywide polling place program, offered by the Texas Secretary of State, allows a voter to vote at any of the county’s polling locations on Election Day, not just during early voting.
