The county-wide burn ban will be rescinded as of Friday, December 4 at 7 a.m. The burn ban, which has been in place since October 29, was most recently extended through December 14 at the most recent regular meeting of the Bastrop County Commissioners Court on November 23. On Thursday morning, the commissioners’ court held a special meeting to discuss lifting the burn ban.
