BASTROP — The Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office released details surrounding the discovery of a body last week.The office is currently working on an apparent drowning off Rosanky Cattle Company Road.Workers discovered the body floating in a large tank on ranch property, Jan. 4, around 4 p.m., according to Sheriff Maurice Cook.“At this time, there is no evidence of foul play,” added Cook in the release.The victim is being sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office for forensic examination to determine the cause of death.The victim is a male that remained in the water for several days, according to the Sheriff.
