Last Monday, Elgin Girl Scouts were recognized for their accomplishments with a program hosted by the Elgin Masonic Lodge #328. The Girl Scouts who were recognized—Dylan Mackay, Addison Prete, Bonnie Halter, Heather Miller, Melodia Sweeney and Erin Grey Ramirez—were awarded certificates for earning their Silver and Gold awards, which are the two highest honors a Girl Scout can receive.
