The newly-revived Elgin Farmer’s Market is seeking a permanent location to hold a weekly market.
The organization is working with the City of Elgin for a lease agreement to run the market weekly in Veterans Memorial Park during the summer and in the parking lot of the Elgin Depot Street during the winter, according to Austin Moline, president of the Elgin Farmer’s Market. The potential agreement will be discussed during the October 15 regular meeting of the Elgin City Council.
