Nonprofit provides update on vaccine clinics

Volunteers and community support have helped Bastrop County’s vaccination clinics run smoothly. Earlier this year, Bastrop County was designated by the state as a vaccination hub, which allows the county to receive vaccine doses on a regular basis and provide them to residents of Bastrop County and other counties. Since mid-January, the county has been hosting all-day vaccination distribution clinics. During Monday morning’s Bastrop County Commissioners Court, Bastrop County Cares executive director Debbie Bresette provided an update on her organization’s efforts in gathering volunteers and support for the vaccine distribution clinics.
