Two local Boy Scouts received their Eagle Scout recognition after completing extensive community projects. On Sunday, February 20, Justin Strong and Lane Bowen were awarded their Eagle Scout rank during the Eagle Court of Honor ceremony at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Elgin. Both boys are part of Boy Scout Troop 182 in Elgin and earned their Eagle Scout rank on November 23, 2021.
