At this year’s Western Day, retired teacher Sherry Moore joined the Class of 1971 at its delayed 50-year reunion to watch the parade, and then that evening she joined the 50-year reunion for the Class of 1972. A teacher in Elgin High School for several years, Mrs. Moore was initially hired as a physical education teacher in 1967-68.
