A joyous crowd came together last Saturday to celebrate the 25th Annual Casino Night, hosted by the Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce and held at the town’s recreational center. The event featured live music, catering provided by John Chabot, raffle prizes, and classic gambling games like blackjack, poker, craps, and roulette. Gaming table sponsors included Apple Lumber, Judge Chris Duggan, Jana Hellbusch Realty, All City Real Estate, and Prosperity Bank. A silent auction was held at the end of the event in which $1,415 was raised towards scholarship funds for Smithville High School students.
