Elgin area artists should start preparing for the Elgin Arts Association’s Pearls Before Swine Art Show and Annual Gala to be held this October during the Hogeye Festival. Pearls Before Swine is a juried art show that awards cash prizes for first, second and third places as well as the popular “people's choice” award. Thanks to the cooperation of the Elgin Historical Association, this year's gala will be held at the historic Elgin Depot Museum.
