The McDade ISD Robotics class, taught by technology director Cliff Spurlin, recently presented and demonstrated their robots that they had designed and built. Students Emmitt Stidham, James Dube, Ethan Shibley, Peyton Spriggs, McCayla Taylor traveled to the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) conference in Galveston with sponsors Sprulin and Heather Stidham. Also attending the three-day training event for school board members and superintendents from across the state were McDade ISD board of trustees president Mark Dube, board member Joe Robledo and McDade ISD Superintendent Barbara Marchbanks.
