On Thursday, May 16, the McDade High School Class of 2019 were honored with a baccalaureate service.

The service was hosted by Faith Lutheran Church in McDade, with Reverend Mark Nygard conducting the service. Various speakers from the school district staff including Gina Sanders, principal Frances Williams, Amanda Hankemeier and Superintendent Barbara Marchbanks read scriptures and encouraged the seniors on the future that is in their hands. Seniors witnessed music provided by Laurey Wolf, Clint Nygard and the McDade High School Choir and Instrumental groups, led by McDade Band Director James Baker.

These seven seniors are the first graduates from McDade High School since 1940. These seniors are destined to do great things, and we look forward to seeing them dream big and follow the path to an ever-so-bright future. Thanks to all the families, staff, and community members that came together to make this a moving and meaningful evening.
