The Lost Pines Christmas month continued on the second weekend in December with multiple events. During the day, youth were thrilled to play in the snow that was shipped into downtown. The event featured many snowball fights, and snowmen were built quickly, as the snow didn’t last long. The Bastrop County Historical Society hosted their annual homes tour, which featured five homes and the First United Methodist Church. Homes toured included the Margaret Chambers house; the Howell home, the Allen-Fowler house, the Kleinert-Griesenbeck home and the Alf Jung house.
